The research on which this report is based was conducted by KONDA Research and Consultancy Inc. for KONDA Barometer subscribers.
The fieldwork was conducted on May 3-4, 2025. This report reflects the political tendencies, preferences and profiles of the adult population above the age of 15 in Turkish on the days of the field survey.
The survey was designed and implemented in order to identify and monitor trends and changes in the preferences of respondents who are representative of Turkish’s adult population above the age of 15. The margin of error of the findings is +/- 2.3 percent at 95 percent confidence interval and +/- 3.0 percent at 99 percent confidence interval.
The sample was prepared by stratifying the population sizes and education levels of neighborhoods and villages based on the Address Based Population Registration System (ABPRS) data and the results of the May 14, 2023 general elections for neighborhoods and villages. Settlements were first categorized as rural/urban/metropolitan and the sample was determined based on 12 regions.
Within the scope of the survey, 1757 people were interviewed face-to-face in their households in 108 neighborhoods and villages of 70 districts including the central districts of 27 provinces. Age and gender quotas were applied for the 18 surveys conducted in each neighborhood.
