ÖZET

The report, prepared with the theme “Income distribution, poverty and material deprivation in Turkey”, presents income distribution calculations using percentage shares analysis to assess income distribution, relative poverty and material deprivation measurements, and a detailed analysis of material deprivation.

KONDA Research has been conducting a series of monthly political and social surveys called BAROMETRE since 2010. In addition to the standard questions on demographic characteristics, political preferences and economic expectations that we regularly ask in each BAROMETER survey, we also ask questions about the public's perspective on the issues that are on the public agenda at the time and to measure their perceptions and expectations in different areas. The survey, the 136th in the Barometer research series, was conducted on November 5-6, 2022 in 201 neighborhoods and villages of 122 districts including the central districts of 33 provinces by face-to-face interviews with 3641 people in their households.
