ÖZET

With the theme of “Health and Nutrition”, the report examines the eating and drinking habits of the society, the desire/need to gain or lose weight, the view of obesity, the perception of weight and weight loss through the impact of social media, the use of medication and supplements and chronic diseases, and sports habits through the frequency of sports. The report includes political preferences on politics, Erdoğan's report card, speech analysis of political party leaders, Prof. Dr. Hasan Kirmanoğlu's analysis on the explanation of economic voting in voting preference. As a current issue, on the occasion of the Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin's announcement of the new curriculum named “Turkey's Century Education Model”, the state of education in the country is analyzed in detail. In addition to analyzing the level of education, the types of high schools and universities graduated from and the jobs held by individuals are also analyzed.

KONDA Research has been conducting a series of monthly political and social surveys called BAROMETRE since 2010. In addition to the standard questions on demographic characteristics, political preferences and economic expectations that we regularly ask in every BAROMETER survey, we also ask questions to measure the public's perspective on the issues that are on the public agenda at the time and their perceptions and expectations in different areas. The research, which is the 153rd in the Barometer research series, was conducted on May 4-5, 2024 in 171 neighborhoods and villages of 100 districts, including the central districts of 28 provinces, by face-to-face interviews with 2826 people in their households.
