CHP Kurultay Davası'na mutlak butlan kararı verilmesine dair toplumsal tepkiler zamanla net tutumlara dönüşmeye başlıyor. Konuya nötr/çekimser yaklaşanların oranı azalırken, iktidar bloku seçmeni zaman içinde kararı daha çok onaylamaya başlıyor. Muhalefetin zayıflaması isteği iktidar bloku seçmeninde oldukça güçlü. İktidar tabanında muhalefeti pasifleştireceği düşüncesiyle Özel'in Kılıçdaroğlu yönetimine tabi olmasını arzuladığı açıkça görülüyor.
