ÖZET

In this month's survey, we addressed the issue of livelihood. We examined how the society survives in the face of economic bottlenecks, from which sources it generates income, and whether these sources form a pattern of solidarity within the family. We discussed what has been done recently and what is planned to be done in the upcoming period in order to ensure household livelihood. In our survey, we also included the depression index, an index that we have been tracking for 10 years as part of the KONDA Barometer, in an effort to make sense of the mood of the society.

KONDA Research has been conducting a series of political and social surveys under the name BAROMETRE every month since 2010. In addition to the standard questions on demographic characteristics, political preferences and economic expectations that we regularly ask in each BAROMETRE survey, we also ask questions about the public's perspective on the issues that are on the public agenda at the time and to measure their perceptions and expectations in different areas. The research, which is the basis of this report, the 160th in the Barometer research series, was conducted on February 8-9, 2025 by face-to-face interviews with 1881 people in their households in 110 neighborhoods and villages of 70 districts, including the central districts of 25 provinces.
